Nissan Scratch Shield iPhone Case Print E-mail
Written by Will Smith - Posted on Tuesday, 17 January 2012 20:58

A scratch resistant case that promises self-healing properties. Nice ... but I wonder if Nissan also offer a scratch resistant car?

"Nissan may not be a name you traditionally associate with iPhone 4S cases, but the company’s Scratch Shield model promises self-healing magic to keep your iOS smartphone scrape free. Using the same clever scratch-healing paint as used on Nissan and Infiniti cars, the Nissan Scratch Shield iPhone case can actually repair any blemishes, the gel-like flexible finish changing back to its original form.

Nissan says the average scratch should be “healed” in around an hour, but more serious grazes could take anything up to a week to be fixed. Still, compared to smashing the glass back panel of your iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 – either of which generally aren’t fixed until you throw money or insurance at them – it’s a lot more preferable."

Beats Electronics and Monster Cable divorce Print E-mail
Written by Will Smith - Posted on Saturday, 14 January 2012 01:12

It's a little childless and immature, but the boys at Beats Electronics and Monster Cable are fighting over who deserves the credit the most ... for f@#k's sake grow up!

"Beats Electronics and Monster Cable Products have decided to go their separate ways once their contract expires later in 2012.

Beats Electronics, a brand of headphones and loudspeakers that is marketed by hip hop artist Dr. Dre and Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records chairman Jimmy Iovine, has decided not to renew its five-year contract at the end of the year with electronics company Monster Cable Products, which manufactured the headphones since 2009.

The relationship went downhill due to financial terms, according to
Businessweek. Both sides would argue over who deserves the most credit for the idea and for the success of the top-of-the-line headphones."

Can wi-fi laptops can damage sperm? Print E-mail
Written by Winston - Posted on Friday, 02 December 2011 00:20

Well .. wadaya-know, Wifi signals killing your sperms? OK, guys ... remember NOT to put your laptop on your "lap" ;)

"Scientists are questioning if using wi-fi on a laptop to roam the internet could harm a man's fertility, after lab work suggested ejaculated sperm were significantly damaged after only four hours of exposure.

The benchside tests showed sperm were less able to swim and had changes in the genetic code that they carry. Experts stress this does not mean the same would occur in a real-life setting and say men should not worry unduly.

But they are recommending more studies.

The preliminary research, published in the journal Fertility and Sterility, looked at semen samples from 29 healthy donors.

Each donor sample was separated out into two pots. One of these pots was then stored for four hours next to a laptop that was wirelessly connected to the internet. The other was stored under identical conditions, minus the laptop.

The scientists, from Argentina and the US, suspect that the effect seen is unrelated to the heat kicked out by a laptop, although heat can damage sperm."
