Back in 2005, when I was living in the UK, I noticed quite a few companies advertising their "Prepaid Credit Cards" both online and print. The idea is for people with bad credit to use the card to "re-build" their credit status, as well as a way to manage their spending. There's no credit checks, no bank account needed, you just need a valid mailing address and be over 18 years of age. It also helps people with online purchases as well as making reservations and bookings, where a credit card is needed. You only spend what's available on the card ... so you're never in debt and there's no interest charges. You just top-up or reload the card with funds where ever you need it.
I had one of these prepaid cards before and believe me ... it was mighty useful. However, it's now 2013 and I'm now living in Hong Kong, but since the card was issue in the UK, I was unable to top-up or reload the card anymore. I decided to search locally for a "Prepaid Credit Card" from a local bank in Hong Kong. To my surprise, no banks or comapny in Hong Kong offer such a service! Could you believe that! So what are the alternatives?

Several weeks ago we where contacted by LSI asking us if we wanted to participate in the launch of a new product range. Having recently taken a look a their MegaRAID 9271-8i controller kit, with a nice accompaniment of additional extras. I agreed sit down with them and see what they where bringing to the table. Oblivious till nearly the a hour or two before the meeting. I was pleasantly surprised see just what they had for us.

In the simplest form Syncro is combination of products. Products you would expect to find in any server room. Or in some cases the your geek friend who runs a cluster of servers in his home for testing reasons. However its not the just the mix of the traditional DAS and storage components that make Syncro something special.

One of the most essential tools for iPhone users - EVER? Since giving my iPhone 4S to my wife, I decided to go cold turkey for a while and revert back to my regular old Nokia phone. I'm going to wait for a while before dipping into the market for a new Android smartphone :)
However, there's a problem ... I've been using my iPhone 4S for little over a year and a half, and all my contacts were on phone. But the thing is ... I've deleted all the information on the iPhone before giving it to my wife ... Ooopps!
Luckily, I've made a backup of my iPhone 4S on iTunes the night before. But how do I access my contacts? ...
In this a short article, we will show you how to extract your contacts (and other data) from iPhone or iTunes backup. Of course, this will work for ALL iPhones or any other iOS devices too.>

The Internet is not a safe place anymore. With so many dangers just a click away, Internet users are becoming more and more accustomed with a popular service many use for better Internet security and privacy: SunVPN VPN service.

A VPN service will create an encrypted tunnel between your computer and a VPN server. It will route all your Internet traffic via the server and change your actual (public) IP address, so the sites you visit will see the VPN server IP address instead of your own. Here are some of the biggest advantages of using SunVPN:
- You will stay anonymous online (because your real IP is hidden)
- You will be safe from hackers in WiFi hotspots by encrypting all your wireless traffic
- You can access blocked websites from anywhere in the world; this is extremely useful in countries with high Internet censorship like China or Oman
- You can access geo-restricted content like HULU or Netflix from anywhere
- Your browsing history will be hidden from your ISP

If you are an Internet cafe surfer you should know you are facing a great risk, in the form of an easy-to-use but very effective data sniffing tool: Firesheep. This Firefox plugin can grant anyone from the same network access to your password-protected session with any site, like Facebook, Twitter or even your email provider. This can be very dangerous taking into consideration the amount of information we now keep online: pictures, documents, emails and even financial information can fall into the wrong hands if you don`t learn how to protect yourself in these situations.

Firesheep
Even amateur hacker can use Firesheep to hijack your session. With a simple double click they can get access to your personal information, emails and more. The plugin works by reading the unencrypted cookies that these sites use to authenticate your session, and then uses them to impersonate you. A simple, yet effective approach, this style of hacking is referred to as "side-jacking" and can be very dangerous unless you take the appropriate measures.

Apple have always been a company to keep everyone in as much suspense as possible, it’s all part of their plan to keep us fascinated with them. It’s Apple’s tremendous effort in marketing and branding that has made their products so successful, and so fans hang on every rumour and debate every tiny hint from the company about new products. But even giant companies are susceptible to leaks, and when we discovered these pictures which are allegedly of the new budget iPhone, you can only imagine how excited we were.

We can’t say for sure whether this is the real deal, but we certainly have good reason to believe it is. This picture doesn’t show the new iPhone itself, rather the rear shell of it, but that can give away a lot of hints about what the actual phone will look like.

According to recent studies technology is having a huge influence in the way that people choose to play and gamble. The popularity of playing real cash games through smartphone or tablet devices has experienced a significant growth in recent years, seeing digital casinos receive more visitors than their brick and mortar equivalents. This trend isn't a new one. The development of smartphone technology as well as the increase in more reliable 3G connections and WiFi availability has been encouraging consumers to move towards mobile gaming for years. However, the number of players who are opting to access internet gambling sites and products through their hand held devices has swollen.
