Hong Kong is a fantastic place where you'll find all the latest gadgets, smartphones and everything tech ... at really impressive prices. I remember back in my early days of overclocking, it was the only place I able to find the infamous "Hedgehog" all-Copper CPU cooler for my Pentium III. It was also the only place I was able to get all the parts for my first watercooling experience.

If there is a piece of hardware you can't find locally, and if you ever get the chance to visit Hong Kong ... you just have to make it a prerogative to visit the Computer Shopping Centers here. Of course, if you are lucky enough to have a friend in Hong Kong ... then he/she can help you shop for tech ;)

MongKok Computer Center

In Part 1, we'll take a visit to the MongKok Computer Center in Kowloon, Hong Kong. This Computer Center is a 3-story building packed with tech products. The best shops are located on the first and second floors, while the third floor is kinda lame, but it's still worth checking out.

Each shop unit is tiny, probably no more than 20m (sq), but somehow the owners seem to able to cram everything they have in stock into this tiny area.

We found a DELL retail store, yeah ... for real. They had an Alienware section, but it was empty! We also came across a "so-called" authorized Apple reseller called 1Spot, selling everything Apple including Angry Birds speakers LOL!
