Funkykit’s Favourite Kickerstarters – April 2016

At Funkykit, we are a huge fan of innovations. Nowadays we are gifted with Kickerstarter where we can see what new innovative ideas will soon be released onto the market. Ranging from ‘What a fantastic idea!’ to ‘Who has a use for that?’, Kickerstarter projects is like the wild west, but its great fun, and can be great source of investment.

There was a recent article I read (I can’t recall the website) in which it highlighted the problems a lot of kickstarter projects face during the development phase, as their plans are sent to factories around the world (mostly China) and they get fobbed off with delays, whilst unscrupulous people rip off the design and release the product at low prices even before the Kickstarter project has even finished its fund raising. One example we’ve seen was the magnetic charging attachment for the lightning port on your iOS devices. Whilst the project was still on Kickerstarter and finalizing its funding, we’ve seen a working product being sold in Sham Shui Po during one of our FKTV shoots.

Anyway, enough of the ramblings, lets have a look at our top 3 favourite tech Kickstarters out there right now.
