I was feeling a bit nostalgic the other day ... so I went into Funky Kit's 2010 photo archive and guess what I found! Some crazy photos of extreme overclockers competing at the Gigabyte GOOC event back in 2010. Here take a look ...
"With contestants from over 33 countries participating, the GOOC is the largest overclocking event of its kind in the world! Overclockers from around the globe battle it out on top-notch hardware from GIGABYTE, Intel, ATI, ADATA, Seagate and Envision."
What is GOOC? GO OC, also known as GIGABYTE Open Overclocking Championship, is the NO.1 brand in holding worldwide overclocking competition. Starting from year 2008, we devoted ourselves to have a close relationship with worldwide overclockers to promote our high-end products, and this will be the 3rd year we are having this huge event.
An Overclocker's Heaven Check out some of the contestants workbench area. It's a little messy but it's an overclocker's heaven, with plenty of liquid Nitrogen and lots of great hardware to play with. Read on to see more photos of each contestant's own workbench area ...
