Installation

When installing the card I had no issues at all. For most people there will be no problems since it is not a particularly long card. In fact it is right around 8" long without the power connector, and 9" with it plugged in. This is about the width of a normal ATX motherboard, so you do not have to worry about it being too long unless you have a tiny case.

To test the HIS Radeon 7850, we used a test rig based on the above components. . Here are some of the benchmark software which we'll be using:

  • AIDA64
  • 3D Mark Vantage
  • Unigine Heaven (DX11)
  • Far Cry 2 (DX10)
  • Battlefield 3 (DX11)
  • Stalker: Call of Pripyat (DX 11)
  • Street Fighter IV (DX 9)
