Verdict and Conclusion

Introduction

Steelseries is a company that puts out all kinds of products for gamers ranging from awesome keyboards to great heatsets so it was not a huge surprise to see Steelseries releasing a racing wheel.

The thing that really surprised me is that it does not connect to a desk, and it does not have pedals.

Most wheels these days have a base that connects to a desk for added support and give the same feeling as driving a car.

Well this racing wheel aims to provide the experience of using a racing wheel, but for those of us that cannot spare the space of a wheel attached to a desk.

In this review we will be looking at the super-cool looking SRW-S1 racing wheel.

It is both compact and feature filled so it is definately a step up for those of us who want to get away from using an xbox controller (or any other controller) and get a good feeling for racing games.

With wheels priced from $50-400 this falls somewhere in that range, but how will this racing wheel stack up to some of the best wheels out there on the market? This review will take a look at the small and compact SRW-S1 to see how big of an impact it makes on racing games compared to a keyboard, as well as a standard playstation 3 controller.
