Introduction

Todays RAM review focuses on Crucial's Ballistix Sport series of RAM, the 1600MHz flavor to be specific. These days the generic advice for ram is to aim for 1600MHz with 9-9-9 primary timings if you aren't planning on doing a lot of benching. Conveniently the ram I have in front of me today is 1600MHz, with 9-9-9 primary timings! It also comes with a nice low voltage of 1.5v and aluminum heatspreaders.

Before we move on to the kit itself, Crucial gets some space for their "About Us" message.

We proudly offer a 45-day money-back guarantee that our memory will be compatible with your system, when you purchase on crucial.com using one of our compatibility tools.

The Crucial.com website carries over 250,000 products for more than 50,000 desktops, laptops, servers, and other electronic devices. We manufacture, sell, and support a wide range of award-winning products, including memory (RAM) and solid state storage.

You can trust Crucial.com to provide you with the right product.

Crucial goes into all the details that I'd normally put here, so let's move on to specs and features.
