Review: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Fan It's time for another fan review! This Noctua NF-F12 PWM fan is a bit more sedate (and practical!) than the last fan we looked at, but it has the same PWM control setup.
I am very happy to see a mainstream fan manufacturer putting out PWM fans, as I'm a big fan of PWM control. It's more efficient than other methods, and it is also very cheap and easy to build your own PWM fan controller. We're talking about $5 and maybe an hour. Anyway, lets talk about Noctua!
In short, Noctua makes quiet cooling products. Their D14 CPU air cooling heatsink is generally regarded as the single most powerful CPU heatsink in existence. Without further ado, lets look at the specs and features of this fan!
