Introduction Just to let you know, the other week ... my trusted old Toshiba Satellite Pro U200, which was 4 years old ... has died! Well, it did give me 4 years good use I suppose ... nevertheless, it's time to upgrade (or should I say downsize). I decided to go to "Broadway" a large electronics department store in Hong Kong ... and was convinced by a salesman (normally I usually ignore them LOL!) to go for a netbook.
I had my reservations, especially after hearing peple say that netbooks only offered low performance and a lack of options. But after spending a few moments to take a look a these netbooks, I was intrigued to find that the newer models nowadays, offered similar power and performance as my trusted old Toshiba Satellite Pro U200, whch was based on an Intel Core Duo.
Of all the netbooks that were on offer ... the Fujitsu Lifebook MH330 really caught my eye. It's one of the thinnest netbook around and weighed in at an incredible 1.1Kg (including battery). After some lengthy discussions with the salesman, I managed to get this netbook for less than USD $380 ... approximately GBP 250.
