Review:  Jou Jye BW-1225P-LV Low Voltage 120mm Fan

Jou Jye sent us another package recently, we previously reviewed Jou Jye's excellent 620w linkable power supplies, and now we have a couple different fans to check out.

For those who haven't heard of Jou Jye, here's a little blurb taken from their website.

"Established in 1997, Jou Jye Computer quickly gained a very good reputation in the IT component industry for supplying excellent products and meeting even the highest customer demands.

Focusing its product offerings on power supply units for computer applications has proven to be a substantial strength."

Jou Jye Computer is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), they make a lot of parts for a lot of companies that then rebrand said parts, so despite not having heard of Jou Jye before, you may actually own something made by them!

This model is designed for quiet, low voltage operation, it's aimed at people who currently use the sketchy "7v mod" for running fans and want to get away from dubious wiring and go to a purpose built setup.

The concept of quiet fans is nothing new of course, but these are rather different.  How different?  Quite different!  For starters they include a high efficiency voltage adjustment box, the adjustment only has three levels (fast, medium, slow), but the efficiency is top notch.

With that, lets continue onward and take a look at the fan and its specifications and such.
