Verdict and Conclusion

The Steelseries Sensei mouse is THE best mouse I have ever used. The feel is much like the previously reviewed Steelseries Diablo III mouse, yet the features just completely push it past the competition.

Every type of game performed flawlessly with the Sensei. It inspires confidence within you to perform as well as you can when playing any type of game.

The first time I used this mouse on an FPS I could feel the tracking differences, but be warned that if you do not properly set your CPI and sensitivity you will be less accurate than before.

The ability to completely customize this mouse really is huge for me. I love having options when it comes to things I purchase. While I currently own a blue keyboard, I can change the mouse to be blue.

This is great for people that feel like changing out the lights on their PC or if they want to go in whatever route they choose.

With all of these great features, you will have to pay for it. The retail price of the Steelseries Sensei mouse is currently $89.99, which honestly is not that bad when you think about it. The LCD screen, LED lights, and ARM processor easily make up for that price hike.

Pros:

  • Comfort
  • ARM Processor
  • LCD screen
  • LED customization

Cons:

  • Bloated software suite
  • Price

Final words

When I first saw the price on the mouse I thought that it better be one hell of a mouse for them to charge that much. After testing it, I have to say the Steelseries Sensei is indeed, one hell of a mouse. If you want features, this thing is loaded with them. It is easily the best mouse I have ever used in both comfort and performance. If you want the best, this thing is the best for a real gamer.
