Verdict and Conclusion This is the second SSD I've tested, it's aimed at a much lower price point market than the first one (and is half the size), but it not only traded blows in the three major benchmarks, this OCZ Agility 3 120GB drive flat out obliterated the PCMark05 XP Startup results from the other drive. My jaw dropped when I saw the numbers this drive put up! In ATTO the numbers are very close to the specs, the read numbers are substantially higher than the rated 525MB/s, while the write numbers are a hair under the rated 500MB/s when empty. The other benchmark results are quite good as well. Being a solid state device it is totally silent. Low power consumption means it stays cool to the touch even with very low airflow. Price wise this drive is a good value, it's newegg listing is for $168 before a $20 mail in rebate deal. $148 after MIR is a great deal for a wildly fast 120GB SSD, lower than all of its competition.
Winston's Words: As always, OCZ Technology has delivered in both price and performance. They're back on my good books. The Agility 3 - 120GB SSD will definitely be on the top of my shopping list.
To summarize, there are pros:
Nothing being perfect, there are cons too:
Not much of a con list here folks, this drive easily earns it's 9.6/10 rating!
