Verdict and Conclusion

Introduction

ARCTIC (formerly known as Arctic Cooling) is best known for making quality heatsinks and fans. Their products range from massive aftermarket heatsinks for video cards, to top of the line thermal paste.

However, there is a branch of the company that does not get enough attention from outsiders. That is their peripherals division.

The K481 recently surprised me with its quality, so I will not be as surprised if the newest item to show up performs great. Arctic Cooling was kind enough to send a set of their E461-BM earbud headphones.

I bet you did not know that ARCTIC makes earbuds, or some may say earphones, huh?

Well, if you did not know that, you must not know that they are celebrating their 10th anniversary either. Here is a bit of info on Arctic Cooling:

"It all started on a beautiful summer day at the lakeside of Zurich where Magnus Huber founded this company and has continuously embraced the idea of "Spirit of Innovation". For ARCTIC, innovations are meaningless unless it brings more pleasant experiences for people. We strongly believe that these experiences need to be "unexpected" in order for people to remember them. Therefore, we are really celebrating PLEASANT SURPRISES with everyone."

Now lets go take a look at what ARCTIC has to say about their E461-BM earbuds, by looking at the specifications and features on the next page.
