Computex 2016 – ASRock Motherboards, X10 IoT Router, mini-STX system

An exclusive event coverage of ASRock Motherboards, X10 IoT Router and mini-STX system at Computex 2016, direct from the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei. We take a look at the ASRock booth at this year’s Computex. Let’s see what they’ve got in store for us in 2016!

 

ASRock

ASRock Inc. is a manufacturer of motherboards, industrial PCs and home theater PCs based in Taiwan led by Ted Hsu. It was founded in 2002 and is currently owned by Megatron. ASRock has been growing fast and become the world’s third largest motherboard brand with headquarter in Taipei, Taiwan and branches in Europe and the USA. The young and vibrant company targets from mainstream to enthusiast MB segments for different kinds of users, owning reputation around the world market with its reliability and proficiency.

At this year’s Computex 2016, besides motherboards such as the Hyper Series that boast extra performance and new X99 chipset motherboards for Intel® Core i7 Extreme Edition processors, ASRock also showcased DeskMini 110 the mini-STX system, a next generation X10 router that encompasses the latest Internet of Things technology, plus virtual reality on the gaming barebone M8.

In the 3rd photo in the gallery above, this is ASRock’s brand new Z170M OC Formula motherboard which is designed with serious overclockers in mind.

As with any other vendor at Computex 2016, mods were in full-swing, but with ASRock’s booth it was slightly different as they had modded motherboards!
