Computex 2018: ADATA

ADATA has been making giant strides in terms of their memory products, and it seems that literally every 2-3 weeks they announce something new, something more sparkly, and/or something more faster.

There is no better way to start off at the ADATA booth than to look at their top memory product, the XPG SPECTRIX D80 RGB DDR4, especially with the recent news that broken the world record and have managed to overclock these beats to a whopping 5531MHz with the use of liquid nitrogen cooling!

Aesthetically, the XPG SPECTRIX D80 does look different to any other RGB memory with it’s liquid heatsink sitting on top of the RGB lighting, which adds to the illumination effect and really makes the RGB glow. The use of the this liquid heatsink isn’t just all for looks, it is in fact a low boiling point liquid which helps to dissipate the heat via ADATA’s hybrid liquid-air cooling system.

These are the XPG SPECTRIX D41 TUF Gaming Special Edition memory that will be out on the market soon. As with all hardware in the ASUS’ TUF Alliance, all RGB on the D41 will fully sync with ASUS AURA. The Spectrix D41 specification wise has a wide operating frequency range from 2666MHz to 5000MHz. It also supports Intel X299 and AMD AM4 platforms.

And if you decided you need more RGB within your PC case, enter the XPG Storm. The XPG Storm is the first RGB M.2 2280 SSD add-on heat-sink on the market. ADATA claims a maximum of 25% temperature improvement with the cooling solution which is enough to keep M.2 NVME SSDs from throttling.

The ADATA booth, like any other year at Computex, was loud and in-your-face, with booth babes parading about with their hardware.
