Razer Opens Hong Kong’s First RazerStore

Razer™, the leading lifestyle brand for gamers, is launching its latest concept store in Hong Kong at 1 Cannon Street in Causeway Bay. RazerStore Hong Kong is an alliance between Razer and 3 Hong Kong, a leading player in mobile data networks and mobile broadband technologies, to bring the ultimate Razer gaming experience combined with 3’s high-speed connectivity to gamers and youths in Hong Kong.

We were invited to Razer’s first HK store opening and this is what happened.

The weather was pretty challenging with heavy rain yet there were hundreds of dedicated Razer fans queuing up in line.

We were greeted by Vivian from instinctif partners, a company that specializes in public relations. She gave us a run down of the event before the official opening of the Razer store. Next, we met with Nick Ferguson who’s the head of Asia’s PR and senior manager.

We also met the first guy in line at the front of the queue who was waiting from 6pm the previous day! That’s over 20 hours in the rain… talk about dedication! He even brought with him, the very first Blade gaming laptop from Razer signed by Mr. Tan himself… the co-founder and CEO of Razer!

Later we talked to some of the other fans in the queue to find out their thoughts of the Razer store grand opening.
