"Kingston Technologies ... have been producing memory products as far as I can remember. But now, it looks like they've entered the SSD market.

What are SSDs? NO... it's not a disease! SSD stands for Solid State Drive. It's a computer hard drive that comes in a 2.5" form factor, however there are NO moving parts. Most SSDs are shock-proof and offer much longer life than standard mechanical hard drives (with moving/spinning parts). Check out the photos below. The reviewer also produced some benchmark tests. "

SSDs are everywhere ... soon, we'll have them in our notebooks too (as standard)

They are getting cheaper. Well worth considering for the fact they are super fast and you can drop them!
