Review: Zotac Geforce GTX 570 AMP! (1280Mb GDDR5)

We've just published a review on the Zotac Geforce GTX 570 AMP! (1280Mb GDDR5). It's one of the first overclocked GTX 570's to hit the market and we get to see how it performs. Here's a snip ...

This particular model from Zotac comes with an overclocked GPU that's runs at 780Mhz (default is 732Mhz), and contains total of 480 CUDA cores and comes with 1280Mb of GDDR5 ram using a 320-bit memory interface.

 

 

The new GTX 570 GPU can pump out an impressive texture fill rate of 43.9 billion/sec, with a memory bandwidth of 152 GB/sec. This should give mainstream gamers the high performance they need to enjoy smooth gaming at high resolutions with maximum settings turned on.

Impressive numbers! What a beast of a card.

 My brother needs a new video card and I told him to wait for the 560, seeing as how these new 500 series are doing very well. Any word when or if 560s are coming out next month?

It is a good card ... and not bad at $350 ... when you consider the GTX 580 is $550

So yeah ... nice big bang for the buck

It's one hell of a value, on par with or faster then a gtx480 and only $350.  Very, very tempting.
