E3 2016: Microsoft announces Xbox One S and Project Scorpio

Last night, Microsoft announced 2 new Xbox’s, the Xbox One S and Project Scorpio.  The Xbox One S which is a slimmer version of the current Xbox One, it’s 40% smaller and also features 4k Blu-Ray playback and comes with an updated controller.  There will be 3 models which come with 500GB, 1TB and 2TB of storage.  The 2TB version will be available in August and will cost $299.   Check out the video below…

 

Mircosoft also teased Project Scorpio which they say is “The most powerful console ever”.  It will be capable of 4k gaming and VR.  It’s due for release at Christmas 2017 but no pricing was announced.  Check out the video below…
