Could This Be The Most Expensive Pokemon Go Hack?

Pokemon Go has been massively popular, and many players have been thinking up new ways to beat the system, from using drones, dogs and even old record players.

A new YouTube video has emerged showing what maybe is the most outrageous hack of all, using a hardware based solution to solve the problem of having to leave your seat, let alone your house. Instead of using software to spoof the GPS data being fed to the app, this latest method involves placing the phone in a radio-frequency-shielded box, and using a signal generator to generate a fake GPS signal which the phone, receives and uses as the “location” of the device.

Then, custom software uses Google Earth and a joystick to slowly change the signal to the phone, simulating walking by changing the faked location of the device.

This is just amazing!
