Watching movies on the go can be a great idea… especially on your iPhone/iPad. You can watch movies you which you already purchased on iTunes or manually add movies into your iTunes library from your PC. Now, here’s the next question … how do you transfer your movies from your PC to your Apple device? Well, it’s pretty simple. If the movie is already in MP4 format … just add the movie into your iTunes library by selecting “Add File to Library” under file options, then sync it. Alternatively, you can add and entire folder of movies by selecting “Add Folder to Library”.

The above same procedure can be used for all your MP3 songs. Which means you’ll be able to add all your favorite tracks straight into your iPhone/iPad/iPod. It’s as easy as 1-2-3.

One of the most essential tools for iPhone users - EVER?
Since giving my iPhone 3GS to my wife, I decided to go cold turkey for a while and revert back to my regular old Nokia phone. I'm going to wait for a while before dipping into the market for a new Android smartphone :)
However, there's a problem ... I've been using my iPhone 3GS for little over a year and a half, and all my contacts were on phone. But the thing is ... I've deleted all the information on the iPhone 3GS before giving it to my wife ... Ooopps!
Luckily, I've made a backup of my iPhone 3GS on iTunes the night before. But how do I access my contacts? ...
In this a short article, we will show you how to extract your contacts (and other data) from iPhone or iTunes backup. Of course, this will work for ALL iPhones or any other iOS devices too.
Firstly, you need to download ibackupbot for iTunes. It's a free shareware which allows to access your iPhone or iTunes backup. Install and follow the instructions as below.

Click the icon "View iPhone Contacts"

Do it with Wondershare's iMate
Isn't it annoying to find that you can't transfer the movies, photos, MP3s between your PC and your iOS devices? ... that includes iPhones, iPads and iPods. Well, no need to worry ... now you can! Do it with Wondershare's iMate.

This piece of software is truely amazing. It's simple to use and you can transfer all of the content from your iOS devices back on to your desktop PC or laptop.
So what's the big deal? Well, take for example you need to "re-install" Windows on your PC/laptop or maybe you've got yourself a new PC/laptop. Syncing the content of your iOS devices can be a real pain. iTunes will ask you whether you want to "erase" the content on your iOS devices so that it can sync it on the new PC/laptop. Hell no!

7 Great Tips to help save and conserve your iPhone's battery life
I've been a pround owner of an iPhone 3GS when it was released in 2009, but I skipped out on the iPhone 4 in 2010. It's now 2011 and guess what? Yup! I went ahead and turned once more to the "dark side" and now I'm a proud owner of the iPhone 4S. I have to say ... I did miss using the iPhone. In my opinion, Apple's iOS is probably one of their best achievements to date. The iOS is so smooth, easy to use and the apps are just amazing ... hundreds of thousands to choose from.
I've used an Android based phone before (last year while waiting for the iPhone 4S), and although it did give me a breath of fresh air ... the Android OS is still growing and maturing. Having said that, it shouldn't be long before it catches up with Apple's iOS, but until then ... I'm once more an iPhone man! Sorry to disappoint you guys.
There's one thing which has always been the "Achilles Heel" for Apple when it comes to the iPhone. Yes, you've guessed it ... it's the iPhone's terrible battery life. Basically it sucks. Without question I need to charge it daily, usually before I go to bed, which is OK. But if I heavily use iPhone during the day (3G, Internet + Talk time) ... I'll need to charge it half way through the day, which is extremely annoying!
So what's the solution? Well, you can get yourself an additional 3rd-party battery pack, which kinda clips on like a cover, but this increases the weight and bulkiness of the iPhone. The other solution is wait for Apple to come up with an iOS update which they claim fixes the problem. The latest update is version 5.0.1, which you can download via your iTunes. Apparently, the update helps prolong the battery life on the iPhone 4S. Does it work? Well, that's open to debate. For me, nothing really noticeable to be honest.
That said, there are certain things you can do on your iPhone which can help prolong the battery life. Here are some tips ...

Conditional Formatting
Conditional Formatting allows you to customize how different messages appear in your Inbox. The message list based will show messages differently based on criteria that you set. By default, conditional formatting makes unread messages bold.
By adding your own customizations, you can highlight the messages that are most important to you.
For example, when you are at work, you might want to separate and distinguish emails which have been sent from your boss, manager or supervisor.
For that reason you might want to set these messages to appear larger than others in your Inbox.
To set up Conditional Formatting from your Inbox, go to the View tab, then click View Settings, and then click Conditional Formatting.

This is a very simple article showing you how to install the Alexa add-on for FireFox browser. The first question you're probably asking is why should I install such an add-on. Well, the Alexa add-on for FireFox is a simple but very useful tool for webmasters and SEO marketeers. It allows a quick evaluation of the overall web traffic and performance trend of a particular website, albeit inaccurate. Still, many advertisers and SEO marketeers use Alexa rankings as a way to determine whether a website is worth looking in to. The more people that visit your website using a web brower that has the Alexa toolbar/add-on ... the higher your Alexa rankings.
One of the ways to increase your Alexa ranking is to install the Alexa toolbar or add-on for your web broswer. If you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, many anti-virus and anti-spyware software will see Alexa toolbar as a threat, and therefore disable its functions. The only way around this, is to allow Alexa's toolbar to run as an exemption and bypass the anti-virus and anti-spyware software ... something many users will be reluctant to do.
So what's the alternative? Well, the only other way is to use a different web browser ... we recommend using FireFox. You can download it here. FireFox has options to install add-ons which will not be affected by your anti-virus and anti-spyware software, which is perfect for web tools such as the Alexa add-on.
Below are just some of the simple steps needed to install this invaulable add-on.

On the FireFox browser, goto Tools > Add-ons. The above window will open. Search for Alexa in the search box. You will see Alexa Sparky. Click on the item.
