Sony doesn't mind being late on releasing new Andriod based smartphones ... they make enough from TVs, PS3s, PSPs and their laptops. Still, it's nice to see some high-end smartphones from Sony coming soon ...

"Sony, after taking up a 100% stake in Sony Ericsson, has unveiled four Android-based smartphones at CES 2012 trade show, targeting mid-range and high-end segments, according to industry watchers.

Sony will launch its first LTE smartphone, the Xperia ion, in the North America market in cooperation with AT&T, the sources noted."
