Google Getting Rid Of Drive For Desktop

Now that Google’s Backup & Sync software is available on PC and Mac, Google is getting rid of its Drive software for desktop. The client will no longer be supported come December 11, 2017 and it’ll fully close on March 12, 2018. Everyone should make the switch to Google’s more recent tool, which launched in July.

Backup & Sync gives people an easy way to automatically sync files and folders with Google Drive.

Google is telling its business users to switch to Google Drive File Stream, a tool that’ll arrive on September 26.
