Conclusion and Verdict

The SPzero Portable Bluetooth Speaker and Speakerphone from Antec delivered on their promise to bring us a quality product at a valuable price point.

Every feature worked as intended through our testing period and we did not experience any hiccups along the way. This speaker was well designed and engineered, and the final product is a testament to this. The sound simply tickled my ears with the crisp highs and solid mid-range levels akin to the quality you would only expect from Antec. This is definitely a welcome positive for a product in this price point and establishes its quality and value over other similar speakers.

There are a few concerns that I do have with the SPzero such as the lack of a battery level indicator. The SPzero also does not support skipping tracks via the volume buttons, which some other portable speakers on the market do.

Overall I am very impressed with the advancement of the wireless technology and quality of speakers such as the SPzero. This is the loudest portable speaker I have had the opportunity to review yet, and it has only one driver!
