Sony PlayStation owners can now install another software update. The company is now rolling out PS4 update 5.01, but unfortunately, aside from some minor improvements, it doesn’t bring anything new to the table.
The update is 357.3 MB in size and according to Sony’s official PS4 update 5.01 patch notes, it only “improves system performance.” Although it is just a minor update, you still need it in order to access PlayStation Network and game online. You console should automatically download and install it, assuming you left it in Rest Mode.
