Dual Core i3-7350K versus Quad Core i5-7400 Processors Compared by Linus

Now this is very interesting. A dual core i3-7350K easily equaling, if not beating the quad core i5-7400.

Remember, the K version is an unlocked processor, which means the dual core i3-7350K can be overclocked beyond the 4.2GHz boost. There have been reports that it can easily reach 5.0GHz with rock solid stability. The quad core i5-7400 however is locked, and therefore can not go past the 4.5GHz boost. So do the math …

According to Linus, they ran Intel Core i3-7350K at 4.2GHz Boost, with the Core i5-7400 at similar speeds, both were installed a Z270 motherboard. The below screenshots are taken from the video by LinusTtechTips. Buy now at Amazon – https://goo.gl/LnK9FY
