Cat S60 Now Available For Purchase In Europe

Caterpillar smartphone with a Lepton thermal micro camera from FLIR was unveiled way back in February and was expected to go on sale in June. Although little postponed, the Cat S60 handset is now available from Catphones.com for a suggested retail price of €649.

The availability in Europe will become better next month, and other countries around the globe should get it very soon. The phone will be priced at $599 in the United States. Its biggest advantage is the thermal camera and rugged design, allowing it visualize heat up to 100 feet away and still withstand drops up to six feet. It is also waterproof at up to 5m for an hour.
