First Gigabit LTE Phone To Be Announced At MWC 2017

5G network might be the future, but LTE isn’t quite done yet and has still something to offer. The Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has now announced that it will launch the world’s first gigabit LTE smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona later this month.

The ZTE Gigabit smartphone will allow download speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second, but we don’t know much about it.

“The ZTE Gigabit phone will revolutionize connectivity with a new standard of download speeds, 1Gbps, bringing a qualitative leap to a new world of mobile experience by making 360-degree panoramic VR video, instant Cloud storage, entertainment upgrades and a fast cache of ultra Hi-Fi music and movies possible.”
