Soft Gold OnePlus 3 Smartphone to be Available in China This Month

Earlier this week, Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus revealed its upcoming Soft Gold variant of the OnePlus 3 smartphone on Weibo. It was notable that the handset was initially launched in China with Black color variant.

According to OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, this latest model of the OnePlus 3 will be available sometime in the second half of July this year.

The specification of the upcoming Soft Gold OnePlus 3 smartphone is just similar to the previously launched Black model of the device. It will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display screen.  The device is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 GPU.

The OnePlus 3 smartphone is equipped with a massive 6GB of RAM onboard, and it has a built-in 64GB internal memory storage that is not expandable. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box along with OnePlus customized Oxygen user interface on top.

On the camera side, the OnePlus 3 sports a 16-megapixel main shooter with phase detection autofocus and LED flash support. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 and 1/3.2″ sensor size. Interestingly, the cameras can capture a video resolution up to 2160 pixels @30fps and 720 pixels @120fps.

The device is backed with a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh capacity battery inside. Connectivity options include 2G / 3G / 4G Networks support, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB Type-C. It has a body dimension of 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm and weighs 158 grams.

There has been no information yet on the price of the upcoming Soft Gold version of the smartphone, but it is expected to cost the same as the Black model.
