40 million OEM motherboards and 5 million branded motherboards ... Wow, I not sure whether to believe it or not. Having said that, It's more likely you'll spot these branded motherboards in emerging markets.
"Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) shipped five million own-brand motherboards in 2010 in addition to OEM shipments of over 40 million, according to a company representative.
Although Foxconn continues to sell its branded motherboards worldwide, key markets in 2010 were mainly emerging ones such as Peru, Turkey and Vietnam where Foxconn is one of the top-three brands, the representative said."
