Press Release: Gamers can compete in the first-person shooter to win prizes or hardware

HONG KONG – Feb. 15, 2013 – ZOTAC International, a global innovator and leading manufacturer of graphics cards, mainboards and mini-PCs, today announces the latest addition to the ZOTAC Cup gaming tournament with the new ShootMania Cup. Gamers can put their skills to the test every Sunday and compete against others in ShootMania Storm 1-on-1 (Joust) matches in the weekly tournament.

Developed by Nadeo, the makers of TrackMania, and published by Ubisoft, ShootMania Storm is a fast-paced FPS for PC and brings the thrill of competition to all gamers through a focus on accessibility and in-depth gameplay as well as community and user-generated content.

The ZOTAC ShootMania Cup provides a platform for gamers to enjoy this new first person shooter while competing for a chance to win €100 in the weekly tournament and up to €250 in the monthly finals,” said Carsten Berger, senior director, ZOTAC International.

Along with the announcement of the new ZOTAC ShootMania Cup, ZOTAC introduces a special loyalty program for frequent competitors. The ZOTAC ShootMania Cup Loyalty Program enables participants of the ShootMania Cup to earn a raffle ticket, while competing, for a chance to win in the monthly prize drawing for one of ZOTAC’s award-winning products.

Gamers can compete in the ZOTAC ShootMania Cup every Sunday at 14:00 CET beginning February 24th, 2013. The competitors are required to check-in an hour prior to the start of the tournament. Eager ShootMania gamers looking to get some practice in before the first ZOTAC ShootMania Cup can download the Open Beta version of ShootMania Storm directly from the ZOTAC ShootMania Cup site.
