Verdict and Conclusion

Introduction

Lian-Li have been producing high quality chassis as far as I can remember. They are regarded by many, as the "Ferrari" of computer chassis, and I agree. The last few Lian-Li chassis we've looked at were very good. These included the PC-X1000 and the PC-A7010 chassis, which offered great features and excellent build quality. So, when I heard that we were about to receive the Lian-Li's Pitstop T60 test bench ... I was extremely excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Thank you Lian-Li !!

Over the years, there have been a number of manufacturers who have produced test benches or chassis without  any real success. One of the reasons for this is that, it's not something everyone would normally purchase. It's a very niche market. It maybe perfect for overclockers and people like me ... but it's really suitable for the mass public.

Earlier this year, Lian-Li have defied the critics and successfully released the mini-ITX T7 test bench and their infamous T1 Spider test bench. Both have recevied numerous recommendations and accolades. Today, we'll be taking a look at Lian-Li's Pitstop T60 test bench (black version). Will this full-size ATX test bench be as good as their other test benches? ... We shall find out.

The Pitstop T60's panels are made from high quality, brushed Aluminum. There are no sharp edges ... in fact, its construction is so good, you can feel the quality of each panel just by holding it in your hands.

The Pitstop T60 comes with some great features. Take for example the power supply bracket. It contains rubber pads for both insulation and support. It can also reduce vibrations and also secure the PSU without scratching the painted surface. Other features include a heavy duty power-on switch, and LEDs for hard drive and power, which I think are a great bonus.

We all know the quality of Lian-Li's chassis, so we can expect the same for the Pitstop T60 test bench. What I'll be more interested in ... are the features that it offers, and the how easy will it be to assemble. Let's not waste any more time and take a closer look at the specification and features ...
