There’s no benchmark feature on DOOM. However, we switched everything to ULTRA settings and monitored the frame rates for 60 seconds in 3 laps/runs. Frame rates averaged 136 FPS, with highs of 144 FPS and lows of around 112FPS. The scores fall in line with what I expected from a GeForce GTX 1070.

Heavensward – High Settings

Final Fantasy has been around for a very, very long time. The beloved RPG franchise has been seen as the most successful video game RPG series of all time. The latest MMO flavor, Final Fantasy XIV, has some unprecedented visual quality, a full range of character variety, as well as some pretty special magical effects. We tested this game using the free downloadable benchmark with the default Maximum preset. The result is a beautiful game with an ultra-smooth frame rate and an Extremely High branded score.

Here are the results for Heavenward benchmark.

Thanks for the review. What is the fan noise like when the system is under load?

Surprisingly, the fan noise is quite low under full load.

Great Review!

A quick question!

I want to buy one, but just to change his MXM Graphics Card, I have an Alienware 17 R5 eDP, and Im wondering if this card is going to work with it.

Before I buy the Zotac 1070, any change you can give us a hand and try it on a MXM Laptop with eDP?

Thanks!!!

You need to double check with the manufacturers to make sure these mxm cards work

6434 GFlops from the AIDA64 benchmark sounds a bit too much. I get only half of that with GPUburn on Linux. Can someone try GPUburn on windows and see what they get?
