Cooler Master N600 Chassis Review

Installation & Finished Look

Installation of any 3.5″ hard drive is extremely easy within the N600. Using the provided tool-less brakets, conveniently labled “L” and “R” for left and right respectively, we simply slide the hard drive into place in which ever cage we desire. No screws required for this phase, check!

Installation of a 2.5″ hard drive or SSD does in fact require screws, as do most chassis currently available in the market. We simply install the SSD either behind the motherboard tray or in one of four available slots in the middle cage. Done!

Installation of an optical drive is quick and painless. I have to say the tool-less brackets used here are the best I have encountered yet. The drive slipped in easily and stopped without any adverse tension or popping sound. The drive is snug, check!

Finally, we install the rest of the components accordingly. Just look at the space left over, even with the massive Cooler Master V8 GTS!

In no time at all, some basic cable management was accomplished and not only serves the setup aesthetically, but for improved airflow as well.
