Cooler Master COSMOS C700P Full Tower Chassis Review

The Box and Package

The Cooler Master Cosmos C700P is massive. It’s one of the largest chassis I’ve come across, but mind you there are probably larger ones out there.

The whole box weighs in at 26.5kg, the chassis itself has a net weight of 22.2kg. You definitely need 2 people to carry it (recommended).

Tempered Glass Panels and Front Panel I/O

The dual curved tempered glass looks amazingly sexy. Some like it, some don’t … but I think it adds class to the whole chassis.

Talking of I/O, the C700P comes with 4 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 3.1 (Type-C), headphone jack , mic-in, power-on button, reset switch, fan speed control and RGB effect (cycle, static or motherboard control).

Here’s some photos of the chassis in different angles. Doesn’t it look real sexy!

A Closer Look

The solid Aluminum handles is sturdy and robust, and makes it easier for users to pick up and move the system around. You also find a similar feature at the base of the chassis. This elevates the whole chassis off the ground, making it look real N-I-C-E!

With dual curved tempered glass, you’ll have to be careful when handling the chassis. A warning sticker reminds you that it’s fragile 😛

Inside the chassis, you’ll see a PSU and HD/ODD cover. This can be removed depending on your tastes. At the back of the motherboard tray, you’ll find the RGB and fan controllers.

The top and front grille can be removed so you can easily mount your radiators. There’s a 140mm fan located at the rear of the chassis.
