Rasurbo Xange Gaming Case Review

As the picture suggests, we have a case to review today! A fairly interesting case at that, it’s one of Rasurbo’s top models, called the Xange.

If you’re not in Europe you may not have heard of Rasurbo before, they’re based in Germany and mostly aim for the European market.  I don’t really know much about Rasurbo, and their web site doesn’t have a lot to say either.  So now I’ll talk about the case, that I know something about, as I have it right in front of me!

Here’s a blurb taken from their website:

“RASURBO — Get the best for your money! The RASURBO brand stands for an unbeatable price / performance ratio in computer components.

This is why, for instance, the Rasurbo GAP and DLP ranges of power supplies have managed to attain a number of awards.

Enjoy now our new product highlights and upgrades. Feel free to visit rasurbo.com from time to time for Rasurbo product news.”

The Case

A quick look at the box is enough to tell you that this case is a departure from the procession of flashy but boring case after flashy but boring case.  The box makes a you notice the main feature:  Removable trim panels!  There is a large X sort of shape on the top and two triangular strips down the sides of the front panel that are magnetic, and the case comes with a variety of colored panels to go into those slots.

Is if that wasn’t enough to set it apart from other cases, there are also no fewer than three fan controllers built in, with push button controls and backlit LCD displays for fan RPM, and temperature.  Beyond even that, the backlight on each individual display can be set to a variety of colors by one of the buttons below each display.

Next up, official specs.
