Installation Completed
After preparing the graphics card with some ram sinks, it’s time to mount the EK Thermosphere. The GPU block already comes with a G80 mounting plate for certain Nvidia graphics card (GTX 900, -700 and -600).
We have to remove the original G80 mounting plate and install the G92 (53x53mm) instead, which is suitable for most Radeon RX 480 graphic cards.
Please check compatibility at EK’s Cooling Configurator. To use this product on AMD and other nVidia graphics cards it is mandatory to purchase additional mounting plates from EK.
Once the EK Thermosphere is securely mounted, we now need to install the graphics card to the system and add it to the loop.
