Overview

Taken from XSPC’s website

The RayStorm Pro is the highest performance and best quality waterblock XSPC have ever made. The waterblock top and new high performance base are CNC machined from pure copper, while the bracket is made from cnc’d aluminium with an acrylic insert for LED lighting. This give the block a solid and premium quality, appearance and feel.

As well as the performance and quality advances, we have introduced a new mounting system that’s easier to use and applies the correct pressure, every time.

  • Solid aluminium bracket with acrylic inserts
  • New, high performance copper base
  • CNC cut, pure copper top
  • 2 x 3mm LED holes
  • G1/4″ threads
  • Compatible with most compression fittings
  • Supports Intel sockets 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011 and 2011-3

Supplied with mounting hardware, 1150/1151/1155/1156, and 1366 backplates, twin white LED, allen key, and K3 thermal paste.

The packaging

The packaging comes with mounting hardware, which includes backplates for 1150/1151/1155/1156 and 1366 sockets, as well as screws for the 2011-v3 socket. You’ll also get twin white LEDs, allen key, and K3 thermal paste. Additional, I purchased 2 x Orange LEDs and well as 2 x UV LEDs 😉

The Waterblock

The waterblock unit comes in two parts. There’s a solid aluminium bracket with acrylic inserts (for LED effects). This star-shaped bracket mounted on top of the waterblock itself which is made from high-grade pure copper. The aluminium bracket has two tiny holes on either side for inserting your LEDs.

I can’t wait to fit this baby into our new build 🙂 Watch out for a full review (with temperature readings) coming soon. Buy now at Amazon – http://goo.gl/B9Nh7O
