Mi Air Purifier 2 Review

Today we will taking an in-depth look at the Mi Air Purifier 2, Xiaomi‘s latest addition to their Mi Smart Home Appliance Family. The 1st generation Mi Air Purifier was released at the beginning of 2015, but due to Xiaomi’s marketing strategy, it was difficult to get hold of one outside of China. We had our first glimpse of the new Mi Air Purifier at Xiaomi’s Hong Kong Summer Product Launch event earlier this month, and was mightily impressed at the demonstration given of its capabilities.

10 minutes to clean air in a room
Performance reaches 330m3/h

Mi Air Purifier 2 has many advantages, including high efficiency, quiet and pleasant work of the device, concise and aesthetic style that will suit any interior. As a result of optimization, Mi Air Purifier 2 has an updated system of air flow, CARD performance of 330m3/h. Thus, Mi Air Purifier 2 has higher performance, but its volume compared with Mi Air Purifier previous generation, decreased by 40%. Cleaning efficiency is also affected by squaring of room. For example, for one large circle for circulation of air in the living room of 23 m2, air cleaner took 10 minutes. Just a few minutes, and your room is filled with fresh and clean air. Feel the comfort, convenience and safety in your home.

Priced at just HK$999, and when you consider that HEPA air filters from other major brands costing several times that price, the Mi Air Purifier 2 might be just too good to pass by.

Hi – great review thanks. Just wondering – did you ever test it with cooking in the kitchen? Also, what AQI meter are you using and what scale does the Xiaomi Air Purifier air quality readings relate to?
