ASRock X370 Taichi (AM4) Motherboard Review

Packaging & Contents

What you will receive in the package.

The packaging for the X370 Taichi from ASRock follows the traditional ying/yang gear aesthetic with contrasting black and white hues. The goodies are neatly tucked and well protected in the large packaging which is always a plus.

You will receive plenty of documentation as well as accessories with the X370 Taichi motherboard from ASRock.

The motherboard, in true ASRock tradition, is also zip-tied to the foam padding effectively guaranteeing that the X370 Taichi will not arrived damaged.

A Closer Look

Up close and personal with the X370 Taichi motherboard.

As you can see, the motherboard layout is extremely thoughtful, and the shear amount of features available does not let down.

With onboard WiFi, your new gaming machine will not miss a beat or an update!

The new AM4 socket is very familiar, albeit with a few more pins.

The heatsinks for VRMs and the armor shrouds are a nice touch and definitely add to the overall appeal of the motherboard.

Installation of components such as memory and M.2 SSD went off without a hitch of course, since no components invade the space of others. And with 10 available SATA ports, storage options are abundant.

So how about installing some components onto this motherboard and firing it up for the first time? My thoughts, exactly!
