Conclusion and Verdict
ASRock X99 Taichi is clearly one of the best motherboards on Intel X99 chipset which I had a chance to test. Even though it’s not designed to be competiton to top overclocking series, it has most of the features which let you enjoy overclocking. At the same time we can find many additional options and devices which are not available even in higher series motherboards like WiFi/Bluetooth controller or dual Intel LAN. Some users may say it’s not much but everything counts, especially when we take a look at the price.
ASRock X99 Taichi is available in many good online stores for as low as $250. Here you can check actual price in the Amazon store. I think it’s a great price for what this motherboard is offering.
There are really many devices and features which are worth this price like dual BIOS, dual M.2 PCIE sockets, 10 SATA ports with RAID, premium audio controller, WLAN/LAN and many more.
At the end I have to mention design. The X99 Taichi looks simply great. Black and white theme and painted gears give unique effect which I really like. ASRock X99 Taichi is one of the best options if you are searching for a motherboard on Intel X99 chipset. It offers way more than most of the competitive products in this price and at the same time has unique and original design.
