The Packaging
The box and packaging is simple but effective. It lists a couple of the main selling points, like the 7mm low profile form factor of 2.5″ as well as featuring SATA3 technology. Interestingly there are no information on the box about the transfer rates.
A Closer Look
On one side of the SSD, you’ll find the usual SATA power and data connector. The Patriot Ignite 240GB SSD is only 7mm thick, which is thinner than most 2.5″ drives on the market. This low profile form factor allows you the flexibility to mount these SSDs in your ultrabook, laptop or any part of your chassis. Great news for enthusiasts and modders.
