Toshiba 1TB SSHD came to us in an antistatic foil and gray box so all what you can expect from an OEM package. I have not much more to say about package as there are no special descriptions or anything else but all who are more often buying computer components like hard drives are already used to this form. Good enough package for transport and low additional costs make it perfect while ordering larger quantities of computer hardware.
On the drive’s label we can find most important informations like serial and product numbers, model and capacity. We can alro read that our drive has been made in Philippines.
The same as any regular HDD, Toshiba SSHD have standard SATA connector. This drive is compatible with SATA 3.0 standard.
Toshiba SSHD looks like a standard laptop HDD that we are used to see on the market for a long time. Also on the bottom there is nothing special too see. The main difference is that this drive is hidding 8GB NAND used for caching data during work which is making it somehow special.
Let’s move to the next page and check how much performance gain we can expect from the 8GB NAND in Toshiba 1TB SSHD.
