Zotac Premium Edition SSD 240GB Review

The Packaging

No box or packaging here … that’s because we actually pulled this one out of the Zotac ZBOX Magnus EN1070 Gaming Mini PC. According to Zotac’s website, you only get the SSD itself, the user manual and a warranty card … and that’s it!

At only 7mm thick, the the low profile Zotac Premium SSD can be installed, not only on standard PC systems, but also on any notebook supporting the 2.5″ form factor drives.

A Closer Look

Upon opening the SSD, you’ll find the reverse side of PCB board. Flip it over and you’ll find the Phison S10 controller and NAND flash chips, along with one IC from Nanya, which I believe is the 256MB DDR3 DRAM cache.

Ok, now let’s install this baby on to our system and see what it can do for us! …
