HIS R7 250 IceQ Boost Clock 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card Review

Closer Look

Package is exactly the same as we could see in HIS R7 240 graphics card. The only difference is of course descripion on the box so here we have icy looking IceQ sign suggesting that inside we can find exceptional cooling solution.

Back of the box has some additional info about graphics card’s features ( described on the previous page ).

Inside we can find R7 250 graphics card but also users manual and driver’s CD. There are no additional cables as they’re not needed for installation.

Card itself is quite short and even used cooler is longer. We wish to see it smaller for card like this but quiet work and higher performance have their cost.

On the back of the card we see some stickers with product and serial numbers. All memory chips are on the front side what we can see on the next photos.

HIS R7 250 IceQ has three outputs, DVI-D, HDMI and D-Sub so we can connect nearly every display.

Already mentioned cooler has been made by Arctic Cooling ( as we see on the sticker ). Arctic Cooling is well known from manufacturing quiet and solid cooling solutions so it’s pretty good option.

On the blue PCB we can find four Elpida memory chips similar to what we could find in R7 240 graphics card and also many other graphics cards lately.

There is also no additional power connector and all power section is quite simple.
