HIS R7 250 IceQ Boost Clock 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card Review

Overclocking

For overclocking I will use HIS iTURBO software which is simple but offers everything that we need. Base clocks as mentioned earlier are 1050 MHz ( Boost ) for core and 1150 MHz ( 4600 MHz effective ) for memory.

We can also raise power limit up to 120% and that’s what I will do to set maximum core clock.

Maximum core and memory clocks after overclocking are about as high as for previously reviewed HIS R7 240. However due to more shader processing and texture mapping units we can see much higher test results.

Overclocking results are great especially that card was running so high without any voltage adjustments.
