HIS Radeon R7 250X and 260X iCooler Graphics Cards Review

Overclocking

To check how the HIS R7 250X and 260X iCooler are at overclocking,  we have used the HIS iTurbo software which is perfect for all AMD cards.

All of the overclocking results were tested using 3DMark benchmarks and were able to pass these tests without any stability issues. However it is never guaranteed that your card can overclock the same.

Powerful Overclocking Software

Either you wish to unleash its full potential or to make it more environmental friendly, iTurbo is ready for you!

iTurbo is compatible with all cards! Enjoy OC no matter what card you have!

Both cards overclocked well. They are just begging for a voltage adjustment, but at least in this case, the HIS iTurbo is not allowing that.

We can only change the core and memory clocks. There is also an option to adjust the power limit up to an additional 20%.

HIS 250X OC

The HIS iCooler R7 250X 1GB GDDR5 is equipped with Hynix memory chips were able to overclock up to 1176 MHz core and 1456 MHz memory frequency. This is a pretty good result considering we could not adjust the core or memory voltages.

HIS 260X OC

The HIS R7 260X iCooler 2GB GDDR5 is equipped with Elpida memory which overclocks better. We were able to achieve a stable clock of 1224 MHz core and 1703 MHz memory. Both of the results are quite impressive when we look at the standard settings of 1000 MHz core and 1250 MHz memory.

I can only say that HIS could offer both reviewed Radeon R7 cards at higher frequencies as they have really high overclocking potential.
