DOOM (Vulkan – Ultra)

Doom is a science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. It uses id Tech 6 engine which is a multiplatform game engine developed by id Software. It’s one of the first games to use the Vulcan API.

There’s no benchmark feature on DOOM. However, we switched everything to ULTRA settings and monitored the frame rates for 60 seconds in 3 laps/runs. Frame rates averaged 49FPS, with highs of 60 FPS and lows of around 46FPS. The scores fall in line with what I expected from a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

Heavensward – High Settings

Final Fantasy has been around for a very, very long time. The beloved RPG franchise has been seen as the most successful video game RPG series of all time. The latest MMO flavor, Final Fantasy XIV, has some unprecedented visual quality, a full range of character variety, as well as some pretty special magical effects. We tested this game using the free downloadable benchmark with the default Maximum preset. The result is a beautiful game with an ultra-smooth frame rate and an Extremely High branded score.

Here are the results for Heavenward benchmark.

How does this card fares with the 1050 Ti mini non-OC version with one fan from Zotac? I’m wondering if it is worth the extra bucks.
