Founded in 2006 iLuv is still a relatively new face. They have mostly been known for their iphone accessories but recently it appears that they are branching out to cover accessories for more types of devices.

While the name may sound a bit apple-centric they sure cover a wide variety of other devices. Various Samsung phones and Tablets all have iLuv cases as well as all of the different Kindle devices.

The most impressive item we saw from iLuv at CES this year was easily the NFC speaker system featuring Qi wireless charging. If you are not familiar with NFC it is a bluetooth technology that allows you to link up with other devices when they are in close proximity. If you've ever seen that Samsung commercial where the two people press their phones together to send a picture, that is the same thing. Except this speaker set uses that technology to stream music. Pretty darn cool in my book. There is also built in wireless charging. So people with a Qi compatible device look forward to being able to set your phone down and have it stream music as well as charge (as a note, my Nexus 4 failed to stream or charge at CES but I have a feeling it was due to my $3 plastic case). Expect the NFC speakers and Qi charging edition sometime in Q2 2013.

Another main item iLuv featured at CES was their upcoming headphones. These headphones are aimed at being hip and stylish. Featuring a denim side they certainly appeal to people with varying pants colors. So next time you see that purple pair of jeans at the store, don't be afraid to buy them since there will be a matching set of headphones. Personally I'll stick with the black or blue but thats just me, if you want a bold color these headphones are certainly for you.
